Appointment of a member of the Board of Directors
Al Batinah Power Company SAOG (the “Company”) advises the Capital Market Authority, the Muscat Securities Market and the investors’ community as follows:
On 30 January 2019, the Board of Directors of the Company approved appointment of Mr. Kamal Mathur as a temporary director, Deputy Chairperson of the Board and a member of the Audit Committee in place of Mr. Debasish Majumder who has tendered his resignation on 27 January 2019. Mr. Kamal Mathur is a Certified Internal Auditor and has more than 20 years of professional working experience.
