Appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer
The Board of Directors of Al Batinah Power Company SAOG (“the Company”) is pleased to advise the Capital Market Authority, the Muscat Securities Market and the investors’ community as follows:
- Mr. Mohammed Ali Salim Al Rawahi is appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Company in replacement of Mr. Ya’qoub Harbi Salim Al Harthi effective 22 September 2019.
- Mr. Mohammed Al Rawahi acts as Disclosure Officer of the Company, and
- Mr. Mohammed Al Rawahi acts as Company Spokesperson of the Company.
Mr. Ya’qoub Harbi Salim Al Harthi leaves the Company by the same date and pursue new professional challenges.
Mr. Mohammed Al Rawahi holds Master of Business Administration from University of Bedfordshire and a Mechatronic Engineering Degree from Sultan Qaboos University in Oman. He has been associated with power and desalination plants operations & maintenance and management in various power plants in the sector and Petroleum Development of Oman for more than 11 years.
The Board of Directors of Al Batinah Power Company SAOG welcomes Mr. Mohammed Al Rawahi and expresses all its gratitude to Mr. Ya’qoub Al Harthi for the work completed and projects achieved successfully over the last 2 years within the Company.
