Al Batinah Power Company SAOG (the “Company”) advises the Capital Market Authority, the Muscat Security Market and the investor’s community that it has received only one application to fill in one vacancy in the Board of Directors. The summary profile of the nominee is as below:

Mr. Pradeep Prabhakar Navre

Mr. Pradeep Prabhakar Navre is a Chief Executive Officer with a proven track record of Profit Centre responsibility. His 40 years plus experience spans diverse industries--Commodities, Building Materials, Pharmaceuticals and FMCG sectors.

He is a business development professional with a Post Graduate degree in Marketing Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai and a degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT, New Delhi.

In India he has acquired Sales and Marketing skills in blue chip companies such as Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd New Delhi, TTK & Co Bangalore and Parle Products Mumbai over a 10 year period.

In the Middle East he has worked with Suhail Bahwan Group for over 30 years in various capacities in Oman as well as UAE in Steel, Commodities, Telecommunication and Property sectors. At present, as Chief Executive Officer in Suhail Bahwan Group, he is responsible for managing four companies which operate in Consumer Electronics, Healthcare, Logistics and Furnishing sectors.

He has experience in managing large teams including a group of Senior Managers. He is skilled in Negotiation, Senior Level relationship building, Business development, Sales Management and Brand Management. He possess strong analytical skills especially in relation to developing meaningful MIS formats, Decision Support systems, Profit and Cost analysis with a view to manage costs and improve profitability and ROI.

He is focused on developing and executing sound business strategies.
