List of Board nominees

Al Batinah Power Company SAOG (the “Company”) advises the Capital Market Authority, the Muscat Stock Exchange and the investor’s community that it has received only eleven (11) applications to fill in eleven (11) seats in the Board of Directors. The list and the summary profile of the nominees is as below:

Mr. Pradeep Prabhakar Navre

Mr. Navre Holds B Tech (Chemical Engineering) from IIT Delhi and Master of Management Studies (Marketing) from Jamnalal Baja Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. Mr. Navre has experience of 42 years in India, Oman and UAE spans diverse industries--Commodities, Building Materials, Pharmaceuticals, Food, and FMCG sectors.

Mr. Pradeep Asrani

Mr. Pradeep Asrani is a Graduate in Science from Bombay University, Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management, Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers. Mr. Pradeep Asrani is a finance professional with 43 years’ working experience in senior management positions in the areas of commercial and investment banking with Indian and multinational Banks.

Mr. Boris Max Smondack

Mr. Boris holds Pre-doctorate (DEA) in Geomechanics, Joseph Fourier (France) in collaboration with Canterbury University and M.Sc. Engineering (spec. Power & Water), INPG. Mr. Boris has more than 22 years of professional experience in engineering, construction and operation of overseas water and power assets.

Mr. Yasser Mohammed Kheir

Mr. Yasser holds B. SC Electrical – Electronic Engineering, Aleppo University. Mr. Yasser has 27 years’ experience in the ICT domain & telecommunication and currently working as CEO for ICT group of Suhail Bahwan group holding.

Mr. So Murakami

Mr. Murakami holds MBA, University of Virginia and Bachelor of Economics, Kobe University. He has more than 20 years of experience in electric power utilities in Japan and Oman. He had worked as CFO and the Company Secretary of Al Batinah Power Company SAOG from 2014 to 2018.

Mr. Ryuji Kikuchi

Mr. Kikuchi Holds MBA at Dartmouth College, School of Business (Tuck School), USA and BA Architecture, Waseda University, Japan. Mr. Kikuchi as over 15-year experience of project financed IPP development and contracting of power projects in various countries including, Oman, KSA, UAE, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Vietnam, India, Mongolia.

Mr. Shabib Abdullah Mohamed Al Busaidi

Mr. Shabib Holds Master in Actuarial Sciences, University of Kent, UK Mr. Al-Busaidi. He started his carrier in Capital Market Authority and Ministry of National Economy where he was involved in fields of Finance, Strategic planning and Statistics. Mr. Al-Busaidi is currently working for Public Authority for Social Insurance as Assistant Expert for Insurance Affairs where he is responsible for the actuarial studies and Social Insurance schemes designing.

Mr. Mohamed Amur Mohamed Al-Mamari

Mr. Mohamed holds Master Degree in Accounting and Finance from Cardiff University-UK in 2008 and Bachelor Degree in Economics and Accounting from Kuwait University in 1997. Mr. Al-Mamari has more than 21 years’ experience in investment, admin, finance, and pension in Civil Service Employee Pension Fund.

Mr. Sami Nasser BadrAl Riyami

Mr. Sami holds bachelor degree in Accounting from Majan College and has experience in Finance & Accounting. He is currently working as Finance Assistant at Ministry of Defense Pension Fund.

Mr. Muhammad Fawad Akhtar

Mr. Fawad is the fellow member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and holds a Bachelor degree in Economics. Mr. Akhtar has 24 years of professional working experience; including 19 years in power and water sector. He is currently working as CFO of Engie KSA.

Mr. Khalil Ahmed Abdullah Al Harthy

Mr. Khalil holds bachelor degree finance and has more than 25 years experiences in banking and insurance sector. He is currently working as CEO of Credit Oman SAOC which is official export guarantee agency in Oman.
