Appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer
The Board of Directors of Al Suwadi Power Company SAOG is pleased to advise the Capital Market Authority, the Muscat Securities Market and the investors’ community about appointment of Mr. Navneet Kasbekar as new Chief Executive Officer of the Company as replacement of Mr. Przemek Lupa effective 1st April 2015.
Mr. Kasbekar has been associated with International Power GDF Suez since 2001 and has been Chief Executive Officer of Al Kamil Power Company SAOG from 2006. Mr. Kasbekar is a Commerce Graduate and a Chartered Accountant. He joined Al Kamil Power Company SAOG in January 2001 as Finance Director and was actively associated in the setting up of the power project and installing systems and procedures in the organisation. He has over 30 years varied managerial experience having worked as general manager of companies engaged in investment, real estate, hospitality and printing businesses.
