Appointment of temporary directors on the Board of Directors
The Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Al Suwadi Power Company SAOG (the “Company”) advises the Capital Market Authority, the Muscat Securities Market and the investors’ community regarding appointment of two temporary and independent directors on the Board on 15 July 2018 till the date of next Annual General Meeting of the Company as follows:
- Mr. Ashok Kumar Saproo as member of the Board and member of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee. Mr. Ashok Kumar Saproo holds B.E. (Hons.) degree in Civil Engineering from India and has 38 years of professional working experience; and
- Mr. Ravinder Soin as member of the Board, deputy chairperson of the Board and member of the Audit Committee. Mr. Ravinder Soin is a Chartered Accountant and Management Accountant from India and has 26 years professional working experience.
The above appointments have been made to fill casual vacancies arising from the resignation of Mr. Nair Santosh Unni on 14 May 2018 and Mr. Rahul Kar on 31 May 2018.
